All this could be yours! *PART SWAPPED!*

An inappropriately exciting post title, for what really amounts to a bit of “spring” cleaning.

I’m looking to swap the goodies below. I don’t know what for, except that (*grits teeth*) I won’t accept yarn, as the stash is reaching S.A.B.L.E proportions!

The lots are:

3 X 50g of Jaeger Matchmaker in shade 662 (cream)

3 X 50g of Jaeger Matchmaker in shade 884 (seafoam)

Matchmaker

3 X 100g Sirdar Nova Super Chunky in shade 885 (dusky pink), plus 1 ball with some used and one re-wound ball

Sirdar Nova

Knitting Pretty by Kris Percival (a great book for new knitters). The book has a couple of marks on it, but nothing serious, and the spine is unbroken.

Knitting Pretty

Any offers?

  • Ooohh… I’m very tempted (They’re all great colours) but have to de-stash aswell! :(

  • I am tempted, don’t care about the size of my stash, will swap for stuff :P
chocolate? alcohol? (Polish), amber (also Polish…giess where I come from, originally, that is), fabric (I do quilting and have several lives worth of fabric too :) ), cookery books? quilting magazines?, a promise of something Polish? (will be there for Christmas and New Year), buttons? something completely disposable???

    Can we strike a deal

    cheers

  • Wow, it sure is hard to think in “non-yarn” terms. I have the knitting 2006 pattern a day calendar, oh..also the crochet one, would be willing to trade. I also have a gang of quilting books. :)

  • Hi Noo,

I added some info on the sock on my blog, but I do have the book, so can i email you anything helpful hints from it? Not the pattern, as that wouldn’t be fair… but quite happy to locate useful hints…contact me on fosterharvey AT gn DOT apc DOT org

  • Hiya, are wishing to swap the lot or part of it? I can offer one of my needlecaseshttp://www.castoncastoff.co.uk/blog/2005/09/20/etsy-shop/ and could make you a matching needleroll or would swap this Amy Butler bag in pink cord http://www.flickr.com/photos/kirstywh/44671106/. Email me if you’re interested. Cheers, Kirsty.

  • [...] I was blog lurking last week, as you do and came across Spitting Yarn’s offer to swap. She has some Jaegar Matchmaker in cream and blue, some pink Sirdar Nova and Knitting Pretty by Kris Percival. Now the book will be perfect for a friend of mine, I wouldn’t use the Nova but I would definitely make something for a little person with the Jaegar. So we emailed for a bit, I suggested one of my needlecases, but they’re not much really, they’re little and don’t take much making. Then I had a great idea to offer to make her a Christmas cake. Well, she couldn’t say yes fast enough and here it is! [...]
