Spitting Yarn

At least once a day Spike settles down for a good scribble session using crayons and enormous sheets of paper on the floor. We let him wield felt tips less often, as they require a modicum more supervision. For a session with felt tips, we tend to sit Spike in his high chair to contain the damage (let loose, he tends to daub everything with them).

Yesterday, Spike created page after page of felt-tipped psychedelic swirls for a good half an hour (a long time in toddlerdom).

It’s heart warming to see his burgeoning creativity.

(We use Crayola Beginnings First Markers which are seemingly indestructable!).
