A knitting library…almost!

In these Amazon days, you might not be interested in bookshop stock, but a chance browse in the huge Waterstones at 311 Oxford Street, London, W1 revealed the biggest array of knitting books I’ve seen in London.

Oh I always wondered where I could go to browse knitting books before buying them – it always strikes me as odd that companies such as Amazon don’t offer a facility where you can “flick through” a book like a knitting book before you buy it – who wants to buy a book not knowing if you are going to like the patterns in it or not – I shall have to give Waterstones a try.

Ah, good tip. Have you checked the Waterstones in Malet Street? That one has a good selection too.
Thanks for comment on BO – then had to look on your site to check yours! Very nice indeed, I love the colour. I bought my yarn at the Woolfest – but you can also buy Rawlinson’s yarn from http://www.spinningayarn.com/

Is that the Waterstones opposite John Lewis? If so, what a coincidence! I went in there on Thursday in my lunch break and was amazed at how many knitting books they had!
