Christmas card swap – Parts 2 & 3
I’ve been meaning to post about the latest Christmas cards I received in the swap but a combinations of work horrors and a glitchy WordPress got in the way. Apologies also if you have emailed me and there has been radio silence. I’ll get to it soon – promise!
Purlpower’s cards arrived next and I loved them!

This one above is particularly lovely and made me long for a frost. The one below is a rich, masculine card which will be great to send to a man. I was also incredibly impressed to see that Purlpower (I think) made her own envelopes. I’ve failed to photograph them, so you’ll just have to trust me that they are great! [BTW: Go and send Purlpower some love, she's feeling poorly.]

Parikha of The Brown Sheep’s cards arrived third. I must apologise for the slightly ropey photography of these cards. It’s so difficult to find good light in our gloomy British winter. Parikha’s cards definitely had a sororal link to her sister’s cards (see previous post), which was lovely.

I liked the modern, festive colouring of the card above and the slick metallic, embossed stamps but I just loved Parikha’s second card…
Check out the uber-cute rudolph with a sparkly gem for a nose. Here’s a close up so you can squeal as appropriate!

The Crafty Weasel and Manic Kitty also signed up for the swap and having seen a preview on ‘Weasel’s blog, I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the cards.
