Edinburgh ahoy!

Is anyone off to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival? I’m up there from 18-20 August.

Shout if you are – maybe we can pool yarn tips, amongst all the comedians and plays…

I’ve booked in for Daniel Kitson on the Friday night and Blackwatch on the Saturday, and probably some randomness in between.

if you’re anywhere near the traverse theatre, my cousin’s new play is showing. i haven’t seen it, but i’ve heard it’s very good.

  • Have a good time. I’m in Edinburgh for the first week of September so please report back on yarn shops etc!

  • Hey there, thanks for your comment on my blog.

Edinburgh is great – you’ll have fun there – just make sure you leave plenty of time to battle through the crowds between shows! Unfortunately Fringe Sunday is only on once a year but there is plenty of free stuff going on plus there’s a 2for1 tent somewhere near the train station. I’d also recommend Mikelangelo & the Black Sea Gentlemen at the Spielgeltent at 9pm – they were fantastic!

HK Edinburgh is worth a visit for yarns – http://www.handknit.co.uk/ – just across the Meadows.

    Enjoy!
