Baby blooms
A very quick post to say that our dear baby Spike arrived safely on the 18 March 2009 at 4.30pm. He weighed 7lb 2oz. He’s a little jaundiced, but otherwise sleeping and feeding well. I am in surprisingly good shape too, although having to contend with some wear and tear to the milk dispensing equipment.
And if you were wondering, the blooms and the baby arrived on the same day.
How’s that for a delightfully fitting floral tribute to our new arrival?

He’s adorable!!
Congratulations to you both. I know the damage you’re talking about. Calendula worked for me & fennel tea is great for increasing your supply…..

I came to your site via “do you remember the first time” via “single gal in the city”… and I just have to say that baby of yours is just about as beautiful as I have ever seen, and I have 4 of my own….
I have been wanting to learn how to knit.. I’ll be back to see what you’ve been crafting!

Oh well done and congratulations – he is absolutely beautiful. You must be chuffed to bits. Enjoy these early days when they do nothing but sleep – once he starts moving around and destroying your knitting it all changes !!!! All the very best of luck with getting used to your new arrival. Take really good care of yourself and rest as much as you can.
Lots of love
